Prerequisites

  • I have searched existing issues
  • I have updated to the latest canola branch
  • This report targets the canola branch, the active non-backwards-compatible track
  • I ran the repro below with branch = 'canola' left intact

Neovim version

NVIM v0.13.0-dev-1062+ga787a31490
Build type: Release
LuaJIT 2.1.1784360928

Operating system

Arch Linux

Description

:e . after :restart throws error "invalid buffer id" where is should just open the directory with canola

Steps to reproduce

  1. :restart
  2. :e .

Minimal reproduction

vim.env.LAZY_STDPATH = '.repro'
load(vim.fn.system('curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/folke/lazy.nvim/main/bootstrap.lua'))()
require('lazy').setup({
  spec = {
    {
      'barrettruth/canola.nvim',
      branch = 'canola',
      init = function()
        vim.g.canola = {}
      end,
    },
  },
})
